RIDE THE WAVE!
Sometimes the greatest obstacle isn't there to stop you - it is there to shape you.
Every meaningful journey encounters unexpected roadblocks.
You make plans.
You pray.
You prepare.
Then suddenly... something doesn't work.
A door closes.
A delay comes.
A name isn't available.
A dream seems to stall.
In those moments, it's tempting to assume you've taken the wrong path and begin questioning yourselves, your decisions, and sometimes even God's direction.
But I've learned that not every blockage is a dead end.
Some are simply invitations to pause, rethink, persevere, and trust.
Recently, I encountered what felt like a significant hurdle on my own journey. The name I had envisioned for this new chapter suddenly became uncertain. It was frustrating because a name is more than words - it carries vision, identity, and purpose.
For a moment, I wondered whether I would have to let go of something I deeply believed in.
Instead of giving up, I chose to keep moving one step at a time.
I explored alternatives.
I asked difficult questions.
I remained open.
I kept praying.
I kept trusting.
Then, in time, the path became clear.
Looking back, I realize the obstacle didn't weaken the vision. It strengthened it.
The delay forced me to become clearer about why this work matters.
It reminded me that purpose is bigger than a process.
It taught me that resilience is often built in seasons of uncertainty.
Sometimes we spend so much energy trying to remove every obstacle that we miss the person God is shaping through the obstacle.
If you're facing a blockage today, don't rush to conclude that your journey has ended.
Ask yourself:
What if this delay is developing something in me that success alone never could?
Keep praying.
Keep learning.
Keep moving.
The road may bend, but that doesn't mean your destination has changed.
Every obstacle doesn't signal defeat.
Sometimes it marks the beginning of a deeper level of growth.
