Football Managers' Meeting at Kitare: Key Resolutions
Football managers who convened at Kitare recently reached several important resolutions aimed at improving the management and organization of competitions involving teams from the region.
One of the major issues discussed was the submission of registration documents. The meeting resolved that all teams were required to submit their registration forms, team lists, and receipts confirming full affiliation by Thursday evening. The documents were to be delivered through either Mr. Omune's desk or Mr. Ogada's desk for onward submission to the office on Friday. Officials emphasized that matches involving Mbita teams would only continue once these requirements had been fully met.
The managers also agreed that a mandatory induction session for all team officials would be organized in the near future. The exact date and venue are expected to be communicated at a later stage.
On matters concerning discipline and timekeeping, the meeting resolved that any team failing to report to the match venue within 15 minutes of the scheduled kickoff time would automatically forfeit the match. In such cases, a walkover would be awarded to the opposing team.
Additionally, officials clarified that teams that have fulfilled all affiliation requirements would not be disadvantaged by opponents who have failed to comply. If one team has completed its affiliation process and the opposing team has not done so by the time of the fixture, the compliant team will automatically be awarded the match points.
The resolutions are expected to enhance compliance, improve organization, and ensure smooth running of competitions across the region.
