Omar Mohamed is the true definition of consistency, discipline, and professionalism.

Every training session, every match, he shows the same commitment, hunger, and desire to improve. He understands that talent alone is never enough it’s the work you put in every single day that makes the difference.

His football IQ has grown tremendously, allowing him to adapt and excel in multiple positions. From controlling the midfield, to locking down the flanks as a full-back, and now commanding the backline as a centre-back, he has embraced every role for the benefit of the team.

A coach’s dream is a player who listens, learns, and applies. Omar is exactly that coachable, humble, and always willing to improve.

Consistency builds confidence. Discipline builds character. Being coachable builds champions.

As the football community of Lamu, we stand united to support our sister, a dedicated coach, a passionate footballer, and a true inspiration. Today, she is bravely fighting lung cancer, and we, as AMU STARS FC, are here to stand with her every step of the way.
