We confirm the departure of our central defender and assistant captain, Samuel Tawayi Khaemba, who has completed a move to Kenyan Premier League side Mara Sugar FC.

Khaemba joined the Blue Eagles in August 2024 from Kona Rangers FC during our return to the Division One League and quickly established himself as an important member of our defensive unit.

He played a key role in our successful campaign that culminated in promotion to the National Super League (NSL) and went on to serve as one of the club’s captains last season.

We sincerely thank Khaemba for his commitment, professionalism and immense contribution throughout his time with Soy United.

We wish you nothing but success in this next chapter of your career, Uncle Sam. Go and shine!
