What a journey, and what a player! Rooney Onyango has come through the ranks, right from the team's Inception and playing in the third tier( Division one) to representing the team in the National Super League, Rooney wore the Gusii jersey with immense pride and humility. Seeing him move from our team to Wazito in the KPL and then back to our team before joining giants Gor Mahia FC was just nothing short of great joy.
As he makes this great stride to Europe, we at Gusii wish Rooney all the best and can't wait to see him play in the coveted Champions League and wear the Armband for the national team!

Gusii will forever be a talent hub.

Due to the financial challenges that have befallen our club this season,we are unable to cater for & attend to our remaining league fixtures. This unfortunately halts our participation in the ongoing National Super league-2023/24 season.

We are grateful to all our fans ,friends and well wishers for standing with us this far.

We will use the coming days to reflect thoroughly on the next steps to ensure we come back better and stronger.

We will rise again.
