Yesterday, we celebrated Ariel “The Doctor” Okall, winner of the 2026 BAL Ubuntu Award.

The award recognizes players who use basketball to create positive change in their communities. Through the Lightning Swish program, Okall has helped empower over 300 young women through mentorship, leadership and opportunity.
