Tuchezeni Africa Tikitaka Championship 2026

The 4TH Edition_ Tuchezeni Africa Championship was successfully held at Kiambu, bringing together Nexa International School, Millennium Global International School, Golden Generation Schools, and Kick to Victory Academy.

Under the theme "Connecting Schools Through Sports and Recreation," learners competed in the U15 Boys, U15 Girls, U13 Boys, and U11 Boys categories. Nexa International School excelled in the U15 Boys category, Millennium Global International School dominated the U15 Girls category, while Kick to Victory Academy stood out in the U11 Boys category.

Golden Generation Schools earned the 2nd Runners-Up position in the U15 Boys category, demonstrating remarkable determination, resilience, and fighting spirit throughout the tournament.

The championship promoted teamwork, sportsmanship, and interaction among schools. Outstanding players from each category will be recognized through induction into the Tuchezeni Africa Honours Awards Board, celebrating excellence and inspiring future generations of young athletes.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS WITH PURPOSE.

At Tuchezeni Africa, we believe school holidays are more than just a break, they are an opportunity for children to grow, connect and discover their talents. Through sports, recreation and entertainment, young people build friendships, develop teamwork and gain confidence in their abilities.

Together with Rolf Karlsson from Sweden Stockholm, children were encouraged to interact with mother nature, stay active and create lasting memories in a safe and enjoyable environment. Together, we are nurturing the next generation through sports, culture and fun.

Connecting schools through sports and recreation remains the pillar of Tuchezeni Africa. During the 2nd Edition of the Tuchezeni Championship held at Potterhouse School, our vision of nurturing and developing young talents was featured by Citizen Digital, highlighting the importance of grassroots sports in empowering learners and building future leaders.

Through sports, arts, and recreation, we continue to unite schools and communities while creating opportunities for young talents to grow and shine.

What an incredible day of youth football at Nexa International School, Kiambu, as we successfully hosted the Tikitaka Friendly Matches featuring our U9, U11, U13, and U15 categories! 🎉

Tuchezeni Africa extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nexa International School for the warm hospitality and for being exceptional hosts throughout the tournament. The atmosphere was electric, the pitches were excellent, the experience was truly memorable for all involved.

Special recognition also goes to NEXA for emerging best overall discipline school and 2nd runners up U15, 2nd runners up U09 -Taaleemul Islaam Academy, and Samba Football Academy, who gave us some of the most exciting and competitive matches of the season.

Former Kenya Ambassador to Germany Mr. Tom with DR. Ali as chief Guest during our 2nd Edition of Inter School Championship held at Potterhouse School,Runda.

The tournament figured 9 private and international schools within Nairobi region.

The sporting activities include, soccer, Ringo, Table Tennis and Taekwondo.

Winners of the match went home with medals, certificates and trophies.
