Movement is the rhythm of life.
Movement is healing.
Through Rhythm of Resilience project, children in Kakuma Refugee Camp are finding joy, confidence, connection, and safe spaces to grow through yoga, dance, football, and play.
The project is supported by .ORG and On.
For the next 12 months our goal is to create a movement of children who find hope, joy, connection and healing through movement.

From a simple phone call to a powerful reality.

I still remember connecting on a call with Dr. Saleh Barham before he was elected UN High Commissioner

During the call, I and my colleagues we shared challenging experiences that refugees are failing in today’s world , asking difficult questions to him , and exploring how we could bring real change into humanitarian spaces especially for refugees living in camps with limited opportunities. At the time, it felt bold, almost unreal.

And yesterday
We were incredibly honored and excited to welcome him to Kakuma Refugee Camp, where he met our team at . During the visit, we introduced our REGENERATE KAKUMA project , a project focused on supporting both mental and physical well-being for refugees and the host community where they will also be empowered to use their skills and talents to be self relaint .

This journey is a reminder that conversations matter, visions matter, and change is possible when leadership listens and acts.

Today, seeing him serve as the UN High Commissioner is truly a dream come true. His leadership brings renewed hope to millions of refugees around the world. What makes it even more meaningful is his commitment to visiting refugee camps personally, taking time to see the realities on the ground and understand what truly needs to change.

Special thanks to @⁨Unknown user⁩, @⁨Unknown user⁩ and @⁨Unknown user⁩ and everyone who made sure this was possible

Spent the evening discussing what’s next and closed it out with the best kind of heat. Nothing beats the smell of a grill and the warmth of a fire on a dark night.
