Maumausounds..from 8pm to 9pm.....Chrisinti was born as Paul Christopher Hudson, in Drewsland, which is located on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica. At an early age his dreams of becoming an International Super Star surpassed the boundaries of the small humble neighbourhood of Drewsland.
Chrisinti’s musical aspirations initiated the conception of “Chrisinti.” Appropriately named “Chrisinti” is defined as Selassi I Child. Chrisinti’s performances commenced at the young age of 6 and continued throughout high school, with participation in school fetes and community concerts.
Chrisinti’s first recording was launched by producer Richard Bell, entitled “Aware of Drugs” for the Star Trail Recording Label. In 2003, Kings of Kings released Christinti’s debut album entitled “Comfort My People”. This album, featuring the popular cover “No More Rain”, heralded the entrance of an artiste unquestionably appointed to impact the World of Reggae. Chrisinti’s highly anticipated sophomore album, entitled “Again”, which was produced by Kenroy YahBreeze Archibald for Eight76 Records, hit stores in May 2005. One of Chrisinti’s prevalent successes was “Oh Sheila”, a song which enjoyed local and international charts’ prominent recognition. “Oh Sheila” steadily climbed the charts throughout 2004 and 2005.
Chrisinti definitely resonates the consciousness of today’s reggae music, appealing to audiences of both young and old. In 1995 he embraced the Rastafari faith, which profoundly influences all aspects of life including his exemplifying music. Chrisiniti is uncompromising and states “Rastafari is everything to my music, and through this medium I have gained all my inspirations”. Chrisinti’s driving force is his family which is of the utmost importance. Admiration and respect for artists such as Beres Hammond, Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Gladys Knight has impacted his musical development. He has also derived influences from producers such as Sly & Robbie, Bobby Digital, King of Kings and Stephen McGregor to name a few who have produced his music.
Chrisinti’s voice is unique with a distinctive sound that stirs the emotions of the hearts of people. Chrisinti’s music is inspirational and enriching to the soul. Chrisinti’s music has attracted and captivated audiences all over the world providing several opportunities for Chrisinti to extensively tour in Africa, Europe, USA and the Caribbean including his home Jamaica. Chrisinti’s remarkable and mesmerizing stage presence has been executed at major shows such as Western Consciousness, St Mary Mi Come From, Reggae Sumfest, Eastfest, Rebel Salute and White River Reggae Bash and many more where he has shared the with many other known artist.
Presently, Chrisinti is once again tapping into to his instinctively inner creativity to generate new compelling music. With the undertaking of both writing and recording songs. Chrisinti is aggressively striving to ascertain Super Star status. His new releases “36 Bullets” and “Heart of a Champion”, extend to new heights of reaching the depths of his fans’ hearts. Audiences of all demographics fall in love with Chrisinti. His music is addictive. His fan base is committed, deep rooted and continuously growing.
