「O2Y 2026」

今年で14年目を迎えた外洋DWレース「O2Y」。初心者から世界のトップ選手まで全員が楽しめるよう、安全な運営体制の強化、賞金の拡大、新たな種目導入、プロモーション充実に努めました。

ご存知の通り、本レースの会場は深くリスクのある外洋です。土日で130名を越す選手が集まっていただきました。国頭村はじめ多くのスポンサーとボランティアサポーターの皆さまのご支援、ご協力に心から感謝申し上げます。

そして何より、地元の海と私どものパドルスポーツを理解していただける海人/漁師の皆さん、ジェットレスキューチームのお陰で14年間の本イベントが無事故で続けられることに改めて深く感謝致します。

私たちはすでに、来るべきシーズンに向けて準備を進めております。至らぬ点やご不便をおかけすることもあるかと存じますが、今後とも変わらぬ温かいご支援とご指導を賜りますよう、心よりお願い申し上げます。

"O2Y 2026"

This year marks the 14th anniversary of O2Y. We tried to enhance safety protocols, increase prize money, and strengthen our promotional efforts to ensure that everyone—from beginners to world-class athletes—can enjoy all weekend.

Our event takes place in the deep open ocean.

We are deeply grateful to the more than 130 athletes gathered over the weekend, as well as to Kunigami Village, our many sponsors, and our volunteer supporters. Above all, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the local big tuna fishermens and the jet-ski rescue team. It is precisely because of their understanding of both the local deep-water conditions and paddle sports that we have been able to continue this event for 14 years without a single accident.
We are already making preparations for the upcoming season. While there may be instances where we fall short or cause some inconvenience, we humbly ask for your continued warm support and guidance.
