I am honored to have received my Shodan certificate from Seki Sensei during the first Asayama Ichiden Ryu Hyoho USA seminar. As a student of the Honbu Dojo, this achievement holds great meaning and comes with significant responsibilities—especially in leading the Asayama Ichiden Kai Miami group, a dedicated Doukoukai (同好会).

I am committed to deepening my studies, intensifying my training, and working even harder to honor and preserve the spirit of our Ryuha.

I had the honor of performing at the beautiful Ichimura Japanese Garden in Miami. It was a wonderful experience to connect with amazing people and talented artists who share a passion for Japanese culture.
A special thank you to Akiko Iwata-san from Ikebana International, Mr. Rick Del Vecchio, and everyone involved in making this event possible. Let’s do it again soon!

The Asayama Ichiden Ryu “Shodan Test” was held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Honbu Dojo in Koga, Inaraki Prefecture. I am honored to have participated in this test alongside my fellow students. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Kurosawa-san and Tsukada-san for their continuous support, and especially to Seki Sensei, who has guided me successfully to this stage. Everyone in the Ryuha has been incredibly friendly and encouraging. To all of them, my sincere appreciation and congratulations.

The path of the samurai warrior is forged in the duality of sword and spirit. It is not simply skill in combat that defines a true samurai, but the tireless pursuit of perfection in all aspects of his being. In The stillness of his heart lies an unwavering commitment to Bushido, which guides every step, every decision, and every stroke of his sword. The true essence of the samurai is found in his ability to face adversity with courage, to act with righteousness even when no one is looking, to treat everyone with respect and benevolence, to be true to your word, to live and die with honor, and above all, to maintain control over yourself in the midst of chaos. The way of the samurai "It is an endless journey towards self-knowledge, discipline and spiritual enlightenment, where the real battle is against the internal weaknesses that threaten to derail you from your noble path.

During my trips to Japan, I came across Tate, an exquisite form of sword fighting deeply connected to Japanese history and culture. It represents the art of katana, requiring refined skills, intense training, and a true Samurai Mindset.

Motivated by this passion, I searched for schools to learn this Japanese gem and found 野内花峰 Kaho Nouchi Sensei, a dedicated master who embraces this martial art. Her online lessons amazed me with her expertise. She is not only a skilled Samurai master but also an exceptional Sensei, guiding students of all levels with positivity, confidence, and formidable skills. Learning the Art of Tate under her guidance is an honor and privilege.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly encourage supporting 野内花峰 Kaho Nouchi Sensei and experiencing the incredible benefits of training in Tate. You’ll be amazed at your achievements, just like me.
