5月29日、うるま市の沖縄県警察学校で空手授業の開講式が行われました。
本年度の空手授業は（一社）沖縄県空手道連盟が担当しており、新城会長をはじめとする指導者方々が出席。
開講式では指導者による模範演武が披露され、受講生らは真剣な表情で見学していました。
空手授業は、護身技術の習得に加え、礼節や忍耐力、精神力を養うことを目的に実施される、警察官に求められる規律や責任感を身につけるとともに、心身の鍛錬を図る取り組みです。
受講生らは今後の稽古を通して、沖縄空手の技術と精神を学びながら、警察官として必要な資質の向上を目指します。今後の成長と活躍が期待されます。
On May 29, the opening ceremony for the Karate training program was held at the Okinawa Prefectural Police Academy in Uruma City.
This year’s karate program is being conducted by the Okinawa Prefecture Karatedo Federation, with Chairman Shinjo and other instructors in attendance.
During the opening ceremony, the instructors presented a demonstration of karate techniques, and the trainees watched with great interest and serious attention.
The karate program is designed not only to teach self-defense techniques, but also to cultivate courtesy, perseverance, and mental discipline. It serves as an important opportunity for trainees to develop the sense of responsibility, discipline, and strong character required of police officers, while also strengthening both mind and body.
Through their training, the trainees will learn the techniques and spirit of Okinawan Karate while striving to enhance the qualities necessary to become capable police officers. We look forward to their continued growth and future success.
