Cooking Day at Getsetgo! They said the sauce looked and smelled yucky, but they tried it and liked it!! Yay for being risk takers! Also, we finally got park time today since it was a liiiittle cooler and cloudy.

It was way too hot today for any outdoor activity, so we went bowling 🎳 In the afternoon, we played with some fabric paint 🎨

Braved the walk to and from the pool in the scorching hot weather today! The water felt amazing 🤩 also some shave ice with handmade mixed berry syrup in the afternoon to keep cool 😎

Today was the last day of SUMMER FUN 2022, and it was the ONLY day we got rained in which has been a true blessing!!
Although some students insisted on going out in the rain, we settled for an indoor sports day. Keeping score always gets the kids super motivated! In the end, we lost track of the points, but that didn’t stop them from giving it their best. Great hustle and great job cheering each other on!

We survived the hottest week with frequent water breaks, water fun, and ice cream. I am grateful that we haven’t had a single day of having to stay indoors all day!! (Maybe tmrw will be our first……………🫤)

The students requested pork buns for our weekly cooking activity. I had never made one before so I was worried about how they would turn out, but the kids approved 🥳
We spent some time talking about the importance of eating healthy and how different nutrients affect different parts of the body.
