◆ SAF夏季講習会

8月16日（日）、東京の武蔵野総合体育館において、NPO法人昭道館合気道連盟の夏季講習会が開催されました。
猛暑が続く中にもかかわらず、参加者はおよそ90名程となり、大森先生と酒井先生のご指導のもと、とても活気に満ちた講習会となりました。
参加者の中には、普段はなかなか一緒に稽古する機会のない方々もたくさんおられましたが、和気あいあいとした雰囲気で互いに技の研鑽に励まれ、会場は終始熱気に包まれていました。
暑さに負けず熱心に稽古で汗を流された参加者の皆様、大変お疲れ様でした！

◆ SAF Summer Seminar

On Sunday 16th August, NPO Shodokan Aikido Federation held its Summer Seminar at the Musashino General Sports Centre in Tokyo.
Despite the continuing intense summer heat, around 90 participants gathered for the seminars, which were instructed by Omori sensei and Sakai sensei.
For many of the seminar's participants, this was an opportunity to practice together with people they usually they do not have an opportunity to train together with on a regular basis, and everyone enjoyed a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as they worked together to develop and refine their techniques.
A big congratulations to everyone who trained so enthusiastically and worked up a sweat despite the heat!

◆ ロシア・ベルゴロドから練習生のご来館

昭道館本部道場に、ロシア・ベルゴロドから合気道の練習生が訪れています。
数日間にわたり本部道場で稽古を行い、成山哲郎師範から直接ご指導を受けました。
明日は、開催される青少年合気道競技大会にも参加する予定です。大会後は東京へ移動し、SAF東京道場でも稽古を行います。

◆ Visitors from Belgorod, Russia

Shodokan Hombu Dojo welcomed members from Belgorod, Russia, who have been visiting Osaka for several days of intensive training.
During their stay, they had the opportunity to receive direct instruction from Nariyama Tetsuro Shihan at Hombu Dojo.
Tomorrow, some of the members will also take part in the Junior & Youth Aikido Competition before continuing their journey to Tokyo, where they will train at the SAF Tokyo Dojo.
The photo was taken after today's early morning class, together with the members who participated in the training.

◆ 乱取り競技 審判動作解説（主審動作）

合気道競技は、昭道館初代館長・富木謙治師範が、合気道を教育的に再編する研究の中から生まれたものです。
師範は、合気道を現代教育に役立てるとともに、価値ある民族文化として発展させるためには、従来の形による練習法だけでなく、相互が自由意志によって競い合う乱取り法を並行して行うことの必要性を説かれました。
乱取り法には、形だけの練習では十分に得られない技術的な意義だけでなく、勝負に伴う心の葛藤を克服する情操教育としての優れた意義があります。しかし、これを競技・試合として行うにあたっては、それらの意識を見失うことなく、勝利至上主義の弊害に陥らないよう細心の注意を払わなければなりません。
乱取り競技審判規程は、そのような精神を実現するために必要な最低限の規則を定めたものです。

◆ Randori Competition Refereeing Rules – Chief Referee Signals

Randori Competition was developed by Tomiki Kenji shihan, the first Kancho (President) of Shodokan, through his research into reorganising aikido as an educational discipline.
Tomiki shihan believed that, for aikido to contribute to modern education while developing as a valuable cultural tradition, it was necessary not only to practise traditional kata, but also to practise randori, in which both practitioners compete freely of their own will.
Randori provides not only technical benefits that cannot be fully achieved through kata practice alone, but also serves as an excellent means of character development by helping practitioners overcome the inner conflicts that accompany competition. However, when randori is practised as a competitive event, great care must be taken not to lose sight of these principles or fall into the pitfalls of an excessive emphasis on winning.
The Randori Competition Refereeing Rules establish the minimum regulations necessary to uphold these principles.

◆ 2026 Aikido World Championships held in Poland: Report ③

We're pleased to share some photos from the opening ceremony of the 2026 WSAF World Championships in Poland! The ceremony also featured traditional Polish music and folk dancing, providing a wonderful celebration of Polish culture.

Today's competition is focused on the Junior and Youth Division, with matches continuing through to the finals. The Youth Division will conclude today, while tomorrow the Senior Division will compete through both the preliminary rounds and the finals.

本日は、ポーランド・クラクフ市から大会開催地であるヤロスワフまで数時間かけて電車で移動し、到着後は大会会場にて受付が行われます。

◆ 2026 Aikido World Championships held in Poland: Report ②

The Shodokan Headquarters team have now all arrived and met up in Poland! We're pleased to share a group photo featuring Sakai shihan, Michael Mccavish sensei (together with family), Nili, and Shibamoto san.

Today, the team will travel by train from Kraków to the host city of Jarosław, a journey of several hours. Upon arrival, they will register at the competition venue.
The competition proper begins tomorrow! The Embu and Randori Events preliminary rounds will take place, marking the start of the competition.

7月25日（土）～27日（月）、ポーランドのヤロスワフにて「2026年 合気道世界選手権大会」が開催されます。
本大会を主催する Worldwide Sports Aikido Federation(WSAF) において、(NPO)昭道館合気道連盟は、日本の代表組織であり創設メンバーでもあります。

◆ 2026 Aikido World Championships held in Poland: Report ①

The 2026 Aikido World Championships will be held in Jarosław, Poland, from Saturday 25th July Monday 27th July.
(NPO) Shodokan Aikido Federation is the official representative organization for Japan and a founding member of the Worldwide Sports Aikido Federation (WSAF), the host of this event.
Players and officials from Shodokan Hombu Dojo are currently arriving on-site in Poland! We are excited to share a real-time report from Nili Roberts, who is taking part as a player from Shodokan Hombu.
