Celebrating Hinamatsuri: The Doll Festival 🎎
Today marks Hinamatsuri, a beautiful Japanese tradition celebrated every March 3rd! Also known as Girl's Day, it is a special time for families to pray for the health, happiness, and prosperity of their daughters.
To celebrate, families display a set of ornamental dolls called Hina-ningyo, representing a traditional imperial wedding. The displays are often decorated with vibrant peach blossoms, which symbolize a long and healthy life.
