Before and after. I never tried replacing Shoji paper before. It was harder than expected. I still have to do the other windows so if I do better I’ll just switch them. I may have used too much glue this time.

Tonight we welcomed back Lionel Lanuza to the federation. Lionel is a Ni-Dan who trained under sensei Bill Brooks years ago. I was on active duty with sensei Brooks and trained under him at Camp Foster a few times as well. He was a great instructor. Lionel did him proud this evening.

Last class of 2025 we worked basics, 13 supplementals , kick drills, lock flow, hubab, and finished off with some pad work. 2026 here we come 🙂
