カーリングホール御代田で開催された
堀井さん主催のボンスピル。
ジュニア時代から35年以上お世話になっている堀井さんは、今年で80歳。
昔の仲間との再会や、初めましての方との出会いもあり、カーリングを通して本当に楽しい時間を共有できました。
こうした素敵な時間が生まれるのは、長い年月をかけて堀井さんが育ててこられた人とのつながりや、カーリングへの想いがあるからこそだと改めて感じます。
その精神を、少しでも受け継ぎ、次の世代へつないでいけたらと思います。
Last Saturday, I joined a bonspiel hosted by Mr. Horii at Miyota Curling Hall.
Mr. Horii, who has supported and guided many of us for over 35 years, turned 80 this year.
It was a wonderful day filled with reunions with old friends and new connections, all brought together through curling.
I truly felt that this special time exists because of everything Mr. Horii has built over the years — the people he has supported, the community he has nurtured, and the spirit he continues to share.
I hope to carry on even a small part of that spirit and pass it on to the next generation.
