It’s not just a transition—it sets up your rhythm, momentum, direction, and takeoff. When the chassé is technically correct, the leap has a much better chance to achieve height, amplitude, and control.
Don’t rush the preparation.
✨Break it down, foot goes down toe> heel, and come off Heel > toe.
✨Join your legs and feet tight in third position when in the air.

Sometimes the youngest gymnasts don’t yet realize how lucky they are to have an Olympian right there in their club — training beside them, dancing with them, laughing and sharing the gym.
When you see Olympians in the gym every day, it’s easy to forget what it took for them to get there. The years of training, discipline, sacrifices, setbacks, and countless hours invested .
One day, they’ll understand just how special these moments were, because they get to see the person behind those achievements.
