うみかぜホースファーム 沖縄本島のヨナグニウマの牧場です。ヨナグニウマをフルに活用しようと頑張っています！　

絶滅の危機にある在来馬ヨナグニウマ。この種を後世に残していくには、＜人間のためになる＞彼らの活用法をどれだけ多く作ってあげられるかがカギだと考えています。レジャー的な観光乗馬から、教育、医療、福祉、農業の分野まで多岐にわたる活用法を試行錯誤しています。注意：FBページでは牧場の地図も営業時間も正確な表示ができません(*_*;公式HPでご確認ください。

スタッフのお仕事ちょっと覗き見　Part2

今回はトレーニングをお届け！
今年、4歳になるショウくん
すくすく成長して立派になったので
お仕事デビューに向けてトレーニングを開始しました！

もちろん産まれたその瞬間から毎日の世話の中でたくさんのことに慣れさせていきます

乗馬のトレーニングもその毎日の小さい積み重ねが土台になり、ひとつずつ丁寧に教えていきますよ～☺

ショウくんは頭が良く、人懐っこい性格なので物覚えが早いです！　えらい👍　そしてかわいい子です♥️

まだまだ未熟なこともたくさんですが、少しずつできるようになっていこうね！とたくさん褒めながら成長中です！

This time, we’re sharing a look at our training sessions!
Meet Sho-kun, who turns four this year.
He’s grown up strong and healthy, so we’ve started training him for his debut as a working horse!

Of course, we’ve been getting him accustomed to various things through his daily care ever since the moment he was born.

Riding training is also built upon those small, daily steps, and we take the time to teach him carefully, one thing at a time. ☺

Sho-kun is smart and friendly, so he picks things up quickly! What a good boy! 👍 He’s just adorable, too. ♥️

He still has plenty to learn, but we’re helping him grow—offering lots of praise as he gradually masters new skills!

ある日の日常🐎

スタッフがユウナの好きなところをカキカキしていたら、気持ち良すぎて前にいたルパのおしりをカキカキし始めたユウナ(笑)

まさかのマッサージの連鎖が起きました☺

ユウナとルパは今年25歳のおじい。
お父さんが一緒の兄弟で1ヶ月違いで産まれてからずーっと一緒。
だからとっても仲良しなんです🍒

スタッフはてっきり自分にお返しのカキカキが来ると思っていたからちょっぴり複雑…(笑)

でも仲良しの二頭らしい出来事でした💕

ルパの表情がなんともいえないのがまた良いですね(笑)

A typical day in the life of these two elephants 🐎

While a staff member was scratching Yuna's favorite spot, she got so comfortable that she started scratching Rupa's bottom, who was in front of her! (lol)

An unexpected chain reaction of massages ensued! ☺

Yuna and Rupa are both 25-year-old grandfathers this year.

They're brothers with the same father, born just a month apart, and have been together ever since.

That's why they're such good friends 🍒

The staff member was expecting a return scratch, so it was a little complicated...

But it was a typical incident for these two close friends 💕

Rupa's expression is just priceless, isn't it?

スタッフのお仕事をちょっと覗き見Part1

今回は泥んこになった馬のグルームの様子をお届けします！

スタッフは毎日馬たちのグルームをします。
グルームとはお手入れのことで、これを行う目的は

・馬の体を清潔に保つこと
・病気や怪我の早期発見
・馬とのコミュニケーション

この3つが挙げられます！

沖縄の梅雨、、今年はしっかり雨が降りましたね☔
馬たちは雨で濡れた体を乾かすために晴れ間のタイミングでゴロゴロします（砂浴びといいます。）

そうすると、馬の体は泥んこまみれに…
いつものグルームの10倍以上の労力を費やしてスタッフは頑張ります💪

やっとキレイになったときはすごく達成感を感じます✨

次は通常バージョンのグルームも公開する予定ですのでお楽しみに！

A Glimpse into Our Work - Part 1

This time, we'll show you what it's like to groom a muddy horse!

Our staff grooms the horses every day.

Grooming is the process of taking care of the horses, and the purpose of this is:

• To keep the horses clean

• To detect illnesses and injuries early

• To communicate with the horses

These are the three main reasons!

The rainy season in Okinawa... we've had plenty of rain this year ☔
The horses roll around in the sand during breaks in the rain to dry off (this is called a sand bath).

As a result, the horses get covered in mud...
Our staff puts in more than 10 times the effort of a normal grooming session 💪

We feel a great sense of accomplishment when they are finally clean ✨

We plan to show you the regular grooming session next, so please look forward to it!

寝転びながら、立ちながら、歩きながら･･･。与那国馬は、いつでもどこでも、食べ物があればずーーっとモグモグしています( ⁼̴̶̤̀༥⁼̴̶̤́ )ŧ‹ŧ‹
なんと1日のうち16〜18時間もご飯を食べて過ごしているんだとか！ ほぼ1日中もぐもぐタイムですね

與那國馬幾乎隨時隨地，有食物就會一直吃吃吃，據說一天會花上16-18小時在進食上( ⁼̴̶̤̀༥⁼̴̶̤́ )ŧ‹ŧ‹

Yonaguni Ponies are ultimate foodies! 🐴✨ Lying down, standing up, or even walking...if there’s food, they will literally eat anytime, anywhere, spending up to 16–18 hours a day just munching away.( ⁼̴̶̤̀༥⁼̴̶̤́ )
