My heart goes out to the people in California. I will say that I have seen more fund raising success in 16 hrs for LA than for our fellow Americans in NC. And that hurts. The fund raiser for the 500$ gift card from my shop is still live.

Now is a great time to commission a knife!

Well I was gifted this lumber mill blade and as I’ve never done something along these lines I thought I’d document.

So I marked it and cut it into 12” sections, sanded the down, cleaned them up with Acetone and welded up a pretty gnarly billet. Lots of material to work with so once my elbows and back calm down I’m going to throw it into the forge and start hammering.

I’m excited I think this will make for a pretty wild pattern.
