Regarding the ruling in the title match held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, as officially announced by the KROSS×OVER Executive Committee, the referee’s decision has been upheld, and there will be no change to the result. The sequence in question has been ruled not as a knockdown, but as a “non-effective knockdown?” situation.

Vos Gym Japan submitted a formal statement along with video evidence, that the sequence — a left hook followed by a right cross — constituted a clear and effective strike resulting in a knockdown, in accordance with the official rules. We have continued to engage in sincere discussions behind the scenes.
With the kind consent and approval of Representative Shimamura, and in order to conduct a fact-based review as directly involved parties, we are releasing the relevant footage: a 5-second clip from Round 2 showing the sequence from the left hook to the right cross.
From the standpoint of Hulk Oshiro’s dignity as a fighter who risks his life every time he steps into the ring, as well as the fairness of the martial arts rules we have long trusted, we would greatly appreciate objective feedback from fans and professionals who view this footage.
Although the 2–1 split decision will not be overturned, we sincerely hope that Hulk Oshiro’s strength and the true nature of the exchanges in this title match will be accurately recognized.
