【第40回東京都中学生空手道選手権大会】

The 40th Tokyo Karate-Do Championship for Middle School Students was held on Tuesday the 5th of May at Tokyo Budokan. Two members from SEIDOKAI INTERNATIONAL took part in the tournament. Unfortunately, they didn't manage to place this time, but they made us reflect on how significant humility 謙虚さ matters more than the outcome or the quality of technique. Indeed, we believe that a little bit of humility goes a long way in all walks of life.

May the forthcoming championships bring our scheduled participants strength, growth, and success🎖️✨✨✨🍀

We rejoiced to say Adamas Fang Xin Ciao-san is back🇹🇼🇯🇵

She used to practice karate-do at the Komaba INTERNATIONAL House where we had been privileged to teach world-class international students there karate-do for decades.

She'll have all her balls in the air from April onwards ;- studying for her phD in Architectural Design and practicing karate-do here at SEIDOKAI INTERNATIONAL. It's so lovely to have her back!!

It's starting to feel a lot like autumn at long last.

One of our students Akira Sudo, his film “YOMINOHIKARI”won the Grand Prix at THE SAITAMA NANTOKA FILM FESTIVAL 2025.

As he embarks on a new chapter in his life, we'd like to say how immensely proud we are of him. May the next chapter of his life be filled with joy, growth and endless possibilities.

Yesterday, we rounded off the last classes of 2024 with the lovely annual gifts from Shoko Kaicho!

As always, wishing you all health, warmth, joy, strength and progress - whether in Karate-Do or in life. Take care of yourselves and have a wonderful New Year 2025.
