【相楽小学校3年生62名の工場見学 Factory Tour for 62 Third Graders from Sagura Elementary School】English follows
7月10日、相楽小学校3年生62名のみなさんが工場見学に来てくれました。
7月2日よりもさらに暑い一日でしたが、みなさん元気いっぱいで、「もうすぐ夏休み！」という空気が会場いっぱいに広がっていました。
今回も、子どもたちが飽きずに楽しめるよう、説明するタイミングや見学の進み方を調整しながら進行しました。終始あたたかい反応が返ってきて、こちらも安心してお話しすることができました。
見学の最後には、天然素材の壁紙サンプルと丸付けようの赤鉛筆のお土産をお渡ししました。
受け取った瞬間の「わー！」という声や、うれしそうに見ている姿がとても印象的でした。
将来、みなさんの中から「わたしも（ぼくも）ここで働きたい！」と思う人が出てきたら、こんなにうれしいことはありません。
その日が来るのを楽しみに待っています。

On July 10, we welcomed 62 third graders from Saganaka Elementary School for a factory tour.
It was even hotter than July 2, but the students were full of energy, and you could feel the excitement of “summer vacation is almost here!” in the room.
We also adjusted the timing of our explanations and the flow of the tour so the children could stay engaged and enjoy every moment. The students’ warm reactions throughout the visit helped make the experience smooth for everyone.
At the end, we gave each student souvenirs: a natural-material wallpaper sample and a red pencil to use for checking answers.
Their delighted reactions—like the “Wow!” moments—were especially memorable.
If, one day in the future, any of you say, “I want to work here too,” we would be truly happy. We’ll be looking forward to that day.
