As Gustavo Silva’s contract comes to an end, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for everything he has given to Júbilo Iwata.
In his farewell message, Gustavo shared:
"Today, with deep gratitude in my heart, I bid farewell to Júbilo Iwata.
We held extensive discussions regarding contract renewal, but unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement. However, I see this as part of football. I hold immense respect for this club, and I am sincerely grateful for everything I have experienced here.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to my teammates who fought alongside me, the managers and coaches, the staff, and all those associated with the club.
And to the supporters who have always been by my side offering their support, I want to express special gratitude. The love and respect I received from the very first day I joined Júbilo will remain deeply etched in my heart forever.
Playing in this uniform was a great source of pride for me. The many lessons I gained here, the encounters with friends, and the special times are treasures I will cherish going forward.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish for Júbilo Iwata’s continued growth and success in the future. And believing that the day will come when you shine again on the J1 stage, I will continue to cheer for you.
Though our time together was short, I send my heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported me.
