The wind finally eased today, and the sea around Ishigaki became much calmer. So we headed south for a **three-island diving adventure**! 🌊

The water was beautifully clear at every dive site—such refreshing conditions! 😆 We saw **dogtooth tuna**, huge schools of **fusiliers**, **scorpionfish**, and a big family of **fire dartfish**.

One of today’s highlights was a **comet**, a fish famous for being extremely shy. Usually it quickly disappears into the rocks, but today it stayed out long enough for us to admire its beautiful white and pale-blue spots—like a **galaxy full of stars**. ✨🐠

A beautiful little encounter to remember!

風は弱くなり海は落ち着いてきた今日の石垣島。今日は南側の離島方面、3島巡りの旅に行ってきました。

どこのポイントとも水がキレイで気持ちがいい‼️。イソマグロ，グルクン多数，オニカサゴにハタタテハゼの大家族。さらに臆病な魚で有名なシモフリタナバタウオが今日はあまり引っ込まずに、銀河の星空のような白や水色の斑点をじっくり見ることができましたよ。

We had some rain overnight, but the skies cleared by morning, giving us another beautiful day in Ishigaki. ☀️

Our first dive was at **Nagura Bay**, where the countless small reef fish were as lively and reliable as ever! 🐠

At **Sukuji Bay** and **Manta City**, however, the waves and swell that weren’t there yesterday made conditions a little challenging. But despite the rougher sea, we were rewarded with **three manta rays‼️** 🤩 Definitely a great result!

The wind is forecast to ease slightly tomorrow, but since it will still be coming from the northeast, the waves and swell may remain similar to today. We’ll see what tomorrow brings! 🌊

夜のうちに雨が降りましたが朝から晴れて気持ちのいい天気となった今日の石垣島。

1本目は名蔵湾。抜群の安定感を誇る小魚たち。2本目の底地湾と午後のマンタシティでは、昨日はなかった水面の波とうねりが我々を悩ませました。海況は良くなかったものの3枚のマンタに会えたのですから上々でしょう‼️

明日のは風は少し収まる予報ですが同じ北東からなので、波・うねりは収まらずに今日と同程度でしょうか…。

Another beautiful day in Ishigaki! ☀️ Almost no wind, calm seas, and perfect conditions. It felt so good that even just being out on the boat was a pleasure! 😆 Today we enjoyed three dives around Ishigaki Island.

We started at **Osaki**, surrounded by colorful tropical fish. 🐠 For our second dive, after waiting for our turn, we entered **Manta City**—and a manta was there waiting for us! 🤩

In the afternoon, we finished the day with a relaxing dive among the beautiful corals of **Nagura Bay**. 🪸

Another wonderful day in the waters of Ishigaki!

今日もいい天気☀️、最高の海況、凪です。ただ船に乗っているだけでも気持ちがいい‼️。石垣島周りを潜ってきました。

まず1本目の大崎で色とりどりの魚を堪能してから、順番待ちのあとの2本目に入ったマンタシティでマンタが我々を待っていてくれました😆。そして午後は名蔵湾のサンゴを見ながら本日も終了です。

Another day with almost no wind and absolutely perfect sea conditions—the ocean was like glass! 🌊 And with conditions this good, there was one place we just had to go… **Hateruma Island!**

It had been a very, very long time—**our first visit in a year and a half!** 🤩

After diving at **South Taketomi** and **Panari**, we continued even farther south. Along the way, we were surrounded by **brown bo***es** flying around the boat, adding to the adventure. 😄

When we finally arrived at Hateruma, the water near the surface looked slightly greenish, but down below it opened up into beautifully clear, deep-blue water.

Yes, we got to enjoy the famous **“Hateruma Blue”** once again! 💙✨

Who knows when the sea will let us come back next time…? 😆

本日も風はほぼなく、最高の海況、凪の一日でした。こんな日にこそ、と、行ってきました波照間島。久しぶりも久しぶり、1年半ぶりの訪問です。

竹富南とパナリで潜ったあと進路をさらに南に向け、道中カツオドリに囲まれながら進みました。到着したら水面近くは少し緑色の水でしたが水底は綺麗に透き通る青い水。波照間ブルーを満喫できましたよ。次はいつ行けるのかな〜。

**Beautiful weather! No wind! No waves!** ☀️🌊 What a perfect day in Ishigaki! After the rough seas just a few days ago, today’s calm conditions were a complete change.

With the sea this peaceful, of course we had to go looking for **manta rays**! Apparently every other dive boat had the same idea, and Kabira was packed in the afternoon. 😅

After a long wait for our turn, we finally reached the cleaning station—and there was a **manta waiting for us!** 🤩

Watching it glide so gracefully through the water, it looked almost as if it were **dancing underwater**. We were completely mesmerized by its beauty.

A perfect ending to another wonderful day of diving! 😆

天気良し！風なし！波なし！気持ち良すぎるほどのいい天気の石垣島。数日前の大荒れの海とは大きく変わって凪の一日となりました。

こんな海況なのでマンタを狙いに行きましょう。考えることはどの船でも同じですね、午後の川平は多くの船で混んでいました。長い順番待ちのあとステーションにたどり着くとマンタ様が待っていてくれました。優雅な泳ぎ。まるで水中を舞っているかのよう。美しい姿にうっとりして本日も終了です。

Strong northwesterly winds feeding into **Typhoon No. 26** made for very rough seas around Ishigaki today. 🌊 It felt like a battle against the wind and waves wherever we went! But as usual, once underwater, everything was calm and comfortable. 😄 We enjoyed three dives around **Nagura Bay and Osaki**.

The colorful **damselfish at Nagura Bay** were as spectacular as ever, filling the reef with life. 🐠 Some corals were damaged by the recent typhoons, but there are **tiny baby corals growing everywhere**. 🪸

Give them a few years, and hopefully these reefs will be even more beautiful and vibrant than they are today! 😊

台風26号に吹き込む風が北西から吹き付けて海は大時化、どの場所も風と波との戦いでした。しかし、いつものように潜ってしまえば快適そのもの。名蔵湾と大崎で3本のダイビングを楽しんできました。

名蔵湾のスズメダイたちは、いつもの通りの見ごたえ。台風で壊れてしまったサンゴもありますが、小さな赤ちゃんサンゴがいたるところにあるので数年後はもっと生い茂っていることでしょう。

As forecast, both the wind and waves picked up a little today in Ishigaki. We’re glad we headed out to look for mantas on our second dive!

We went to **Manta Scramble** again, and **two mantas** made an appearance. 🤩 Unfortunately, the first team back on the boat just missed them—timing really is everything with mantas! So close… 😭

The water was beautifully clear today, making for some really refreshing and enjoyable diving. 🌊✨

The northerly wind is forecast to get even stronger tomorrow, so we’ll see where the conditions allow us to go. As always, **safety comes first!**

予報通りに風・波ともに少し強くなった今日の石垣島。2本目にマンタを見に行って良かったです。今日もスクランブルに入りましたが、最初に船に戻ってきたチーム以外は2枚のマンタに会えました。タイミングが重要なので、全員出なくて残念っ…😭。
今日は水が綺麗で気持ちよくダイビングができました。

明日は北風がさらに強く吹く予報です。どこに行けるかな、安全第一で行ってきます。

It was a busy day for the weather in Ishigaki—beautiful sunshine in the morning, clouds and a brief shower before noon, then back to blue skies again! ☀️🌦️

The wind eased even more, giving us **the best sea conditions we’ve had in quite a while**. And this afternoon at **Manta Scramble, we hit the jackpot‼️** 🤩 Three mantas came and went throughout the dive, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the show.

Best of all, **every single guest got to see them**, so we ended the day with big smiles all around! 😆

The latest forecast has **Typhoon No. 26** staying away from the Yaeyama Islands, which is good news, although the wind is expected to gradually pick up again from tomorrow. 🌊

朝のうちは快晴、その後少し曇ってきてお昼前にシャワーが降り、そしてまたいい天気に戻った、忙しい天気だった今日の石垣島。風はさらに収まり最近では最高の海況となりました。今日の午後のスクランブルは大当たり‼️。3枚のマンタがそれぞれ入ったり来たり。お客さま全員見ることができて満面の笑みで本日を終了しました。
台風26号は八重山地方には近づかない予報に変わってきていますが、明日からは少しずつ風が強くなる予報です。

When we arrived, it was surprisingly quiet—but by the time we came back from our dive, we couldn’t believe how many boats had gathered! **Silver Week may be over**, but it looks like plenty of divers are still enjoying the waters of Ishigaki. 😄

For our second dive, we headed to **Manta Scramble**. The fun-diving team that stayed in the water the longest was lucky enough to spot a **manta during their safety stop**! 🤩 Unfortunately, not everyone got to see it… so close, yet so far! 😭

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a relaxing dive at **Nagura Bay**, where we even spotted an **emperor angelfish**, a relatively rare sight around Ishigaki! 🐠

昨日よりさらに、風が落ち着きました。そして今日も大崎から始まりました。

大崎に到着した時は空いていていたのに、船に戻ってきたらびっくりするぐらいの混雑具合。シルバーウィークは終わりましたがたくさんの方が石垣島でダイビングを楽しまれているようです。

2本目、今日はスクランブルへ。最後まで潜っていたファンダイブチームが安全停止中にマンタを見ることができたようです。全員が見られたわけではないところが残念無念…😭。午後は名蔵湾でのんびり。石垣島ではめずらしいアデヤッコを見かけました。

The wind eased even more today, and once again we started our day at **Osaki**.

Being the final day of **Silver Week**, it was busy‼️ Around **30 dive boats** were packed into Osaki, and there were divers everywhere underwater. 😅 We managed to find a quieter area, though, and enjoyed a nice relaxing dive.

Our second dive was all about **mantas**—and once again, **three manta rays** showed up! 😄 They gave us an incredible show, swimming right beside us and even directly overhead. What an exciting dive! 🤩

In the afternoon, we headed to **Sukuji Bay**, where one very lucky team even spotted another manta just passing by!

A fantastic manta-filled day to finish Silver Week! 🌊

昨日よりさらに風が落ち着きました。そして今日も大崎から始まりました。

シルバーウィーク最終日の今日は混んでいました‼️。大崎には30艇ほどの船が所狭しと停泊していて水中はダイバーだらけでしたが、なるべく静かな場所を探してのんびりしてきました。2本目はマンタ。今日も3枚のマンタに会えました😄。サービス満点すぐ横やら真上やら泳いでくれて大興奮のダイビングでした。

午後は底地湾。なんとここでも通りすがりマンタを見つけたラッキーなチームも🤩。
