When the goals are building confidence and developing good technique earlier in your skiing journey, spring time is great for levelling up on-piste at your own pace, and taking first steps into more challenging terrain with those new skills!

Spring morning team training with our TD all around the sunny groomers and bumps of and with instructors working towards the highest levels - their level 4.

Taking time out to bring the team together for training like this keeps our team at the top of their game, constantly learning and progressing - and passing on that to our guests of all levels!

Yesterday was International Women's Day and keeping that conversation in the spotlight, here's to the women to Hakuba Ski Concierge!

As a ski school founded and lead by a woman, supporting women in the ski industry is at the core of our mission to support the professional development of instructors on and off the snow, year on year.

From piste to powder, leadership, team building, instructors and sales team, this is just a small glimpse of the huge contribution of the women throughout the Hakuba Ski Concierge team!

Instructor Carmen building confidence and skills with her two fantastic guests yesterday; one returning with us to continue progression, the other discovering a love of skiing for the first time!

As we transition into more sunny days, Hakuba becomes an even better place for on-piste progression for all levels, as these two fantastic learners experienced this week.

Nagano's iconic Zenkoji temple on a mid-winter day 🏮

Founded in 642, the current main hall was built in 1707 and is a National Treasure, as one of the largest wooded structures in Japan.

This Buddhist temple welcomes everyone to visit, and makes a grear excursion from Hakuba. Our Signature guided experiences can be tailored to add off-snow guiding to the best of Hakuna valley, with local knowledge and personalized schedules .

Local tip: with its elevated position, Zenkoji catches beautiful light, but also the cold winter wind - so wrap up warm to take your time exploring!
