Ten years ago, today, March 11, the Great East Japan Earthquake struck.
It was not only the earthquake, a 10-meter tsunami struck and destroyed many cities and killed many people.
Ten years later, today more than 2,500 people are still missing.
The day after the earthquake, the explosion at the Fukushima nuclear power plant made it impossible for many people to live in their own cities.
I don't want you to feel sorry for Japan.
I want to say that you never know when and what will happen in your life.
So it's actually a miracle that we can play football all over the world now.
We have to eliminate discrimination and prejudice from football.
Today, I think it makes sense to send this message from Japan on this day.
