⁡⁡その毛をただ捨てるのはもったいない…ということで、欧米では馬のしっぽの毛は災いを避け幸運をもたらすと言われているようなので、ストラップにしました！⁡

⁡その他にも近隣地域の作家さんが作ってくれているぬいぐるみやキーホルダーもあります！⁡

The items displayed alongside the horse photos are straps made from the horses' own tail hair.
Just like human hair, a horse's tail hair grows, so we occasionally trim and groom it.
Since it seemed a shame to simply throw that hair away—and because horse tail hair is said in the West to ward off misfortune and bring good luck—we decided to turn it into straps!
It’s fascinating to see the different hair colors for each horse. 🐴⁡

We also offer stuffed animals and keychains crafted by local artisans!
The stuffed animals come in a variety of patterns and are a big hit with young children. ✨⁡

⁡Some staff members call the resident cat "Neko" and the newcomer "Neko-two" (lol).
Neko means cat in Japanese.

⁡For a while, there was only Neko, but we brought Neko-tsu from somewhere.
⁡Even after spending several months here, Neko remained wary like a stray, but Neko-two, despite just arriving, is very affectionate 🫶

Japanese knotweed and old, withered bamboo grass.

It seems that, just like how we enjoy seasonal vegetables, horses also select and eat the tastiest grasses depending on the time of year. 😳

We’ve finally reached the last horse introduction!
Last up is the oldest of the bunch: Jerome.
He is a 31-year-old Quarter Horse.

He’s a cool "grandpa" with a handsome blonde mane. ✨
In human terms, he’s around 90 years old, yet he’s still full of energy and occasionally does some work—like leading-rein sessions—to keep active.
He’s a seasoned veteran with about 20 years of experience; he can be a bit impatient, but he’s a diligent fellow. 😊

His favorite pastime is napping. 💤

⁡Rumba has a strong-willed and somewhat feisty personality.
She is a six-year-old Quarter Horse.

When she’s in a good mood, she looks absolutely blissful while the staff scratches her itchy spots, but generally, she tends to be grumpy and aloof! 😠
Because of this, she doesn't interact directly with guests just yet.

Right now, she is hard at work training with the staff!
There are times when she might struggle with something she was able to do the day before, but she is growing and learning little by little in her own way. 🐣
She’s working hard toward the day she can carry guests on her back! Let’s do our best together, Rumba!⁡
