The Sacrifice 156 Community Board has returned home to the Island Factory Showroom…⛰️🛖⛰️

Now it’s time for the next chapter.

We’re looking for riders, filmmakers, photographers, artists, travelers, and creative souls who want to take The Sacrifice with them on their next journey — wherever the snow continues to fall.

South America, Australia, New Zealand, Mount Hood, or maybe somewhere we haven’t even imagined yet.

What matters most is your vision.👁️

We want to see where this board can go next through your eyes.
Photo diaries, short films, road trips, strange encounters, deep powder, empty parking lots, late nights, broken plans, unforgettable moments — we want to see the experience documented in whatever way feels authentic to you.

Quick Hokkaido park edit of gettin’ loose on his Supernaut 159…🔋💎🔋

The Supernaut is our all-mountain directional twin—equally at home carving groomers, lapping park, or launching natural backcountry features. With added pop through the nose and tail and a slightly wider profile for float and landing stability (regular or switch), it’s a board that feels powerful everywhere.

The graphic comes from legendary European artist and friend, , drawing from his “Quarantine” series.

Meet the newest addition to the Island family — Nick “The Pirate” Brown 🏔️🏴‍☠️🏔️

Summer finds him captaining boats across the Caribbean, navigating open water and chasing horizon lines. Winter brings him home to Hakuba, weaving through deep backcountry forests and hunting fresh lines in Nagano.

Nick officially joins us as an Island ambassador — someone who lives the spirit of this brand both on and off the snow. From tropical trade winds to powder mornings, he carries the same energy everywhere he goes: good vibes, a big smile, and a deep love for exploration.

If you’re riding in Hakuba this winter, keep an eye out for Nick cruising through the trees on Island Snowboards. Curious about the boards? He knows them inside and out and is always happy to share the story behind what we build here in Hokkaido.

Drop by to see the full lineup for this season, walk through the factory, and talk directly with the people who build the boards by hand. Our boards are made right here using locally sourced Hokkaido wood and premium materials, shaped and finished by riders who care about every detail.

It’s a chance to understand how your snowboard is really built—not in a distant overseas factory, but in the place you ride.

We’re just a short drive from the ski resort.
