My Big Boys graduated from prek 3 today! And I am so proud of everything that have learned, they can write their names, spell, read a little and All of those things are great! But I want to reflect on how God really got us through the scariest year ever!
My Baby was hospitalized in November of 2021 initially we thought it was just a stye on his eye so we treated it as such.. little did we know my baby was hurting internally from an infection that was caused by bacteria near his eye. Me and dad were supposed to go to Houston for a conference but luckily we stayed behind and took him to the hospital to get a third opinion.
The doctors couldn’t understand why the antibiotics weren’t working and eventually had to do surgery on my babies eye. The surgery was quick, but to see my baby constantly poked and examined was so hard. Thank God he is the strongest 3 year old I have ever seen! We were in the hospital for over a month!! So Zion missed all together almost two months of schooling, not to mention he had never been away from his brother for more than an hour or two!
When Zion went back to school, it was a little hard and he had some rough days, but eventually got back up to speed!
To see him being honored today as “leader of the pack” was so heart warming to me because instilling leadership principles, confidence, grit, and values in my children is so important and to see that they are actually exemplifying true leadership qualities is a blessing!!
Also, if you know zahmir, you just know he graduated at the top of his class & that’s expected lol not because we’re great parents, but because he’s a bomb ass kid!!
Congratulations 🎉BIG Guys! PRE K 4 here we come!!
