We produce culturally tasteful enactments to educate and entertain with the main aim of impacting social development and promoting youth empowerment. Since its establishment in 2010, Barracks Entertainment has had four commercial productions: Family Remedy, Ting-a-ling-a-ling, Gaza Boyz and Bad Apple and two competitive pieces: Corpse Bride and Till Death Do Us Part (which received two awards, fro
m Tallawah, an island-wide performing Arts competition in 2011). We have a pool of young talents from a selection of Tertiary and Secondary institutions who all share a passion for drama. The vision for Barracks Entertainment Productions is to take our cultural pieces on a regional tour. We believe through exposure to quality and culturally-relatable theatre, social behaviour change is achievable and Jamaica will inevitably benefit from productive use of our most important resource – our people. Barracks Entertainment Productions represents high quality, bringing the holistic theatre experience and the competent skills to edify and entertain thoroughly. We offer training to upcoming talents and take them on a journey from transforming their potential into par excellence.
