📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Timing System & Transponder Support 📣

For the last 3 years, our timing system and rental transponders have been run by the same dedicated person, meaning they’ve had to attend every single race meeting without fail. We’re incredibly grateful for the commitment, but we’d love to spread the load a bit and build a small team of volunteers.

The goal is to have a few people who know the system, so we’re never in a situation where racing is at risk because someone is ill, away on holiday, or unavailable.

No experience needed – we can show you everything. It’s a really important role that helps race days run smoothly and keeps things moving for everyone.

Perks include:
🏁 Premium parking spot (well… premium might be pushing it 😆)
🏁 No marshal commitments
🏁 Helping keep race days running for everyone
🏁 Learning something new and being part of the team behind the scenes

🚨 Egypte is officially back open! 🚨

A huge thank you to everyone who came to help put up the fencing 👏

Before riding, please take note of the following:

✅ All riders must be club members with a paid Egypte membership (one per household)
✅ Riders without a valid ACU licence must pay £2 per day (ACU requirement)
✅ Anyone wishing to try out the track must contact [email protected]

📝 All riders must sign on every visit. Parents and helpers must also sign the Officials Sign-On form. If you are not signed on, you are not insured. Sign-on forms will be in the silver Ford Transit (J65571) until the shed arrives.

🏁 The practice track will be self-marshalled. There are 6 marshal points around the main track with yellow flags available from the van. Please help out and marshal when you're not riding. Parents will marshal youth riders.

⚠️ Maximum 20 riders on the main track at any one time. Please respect the timetable and be ready 5 minutes before your session.

⛑ Minimum safety kit required: ACU approved helmet, boots, gloves and a back protector. Long hair should be tied up or tucked away.

🚫 No aggressive or dangerous riding – this is a practice track, not World Supercross!
🚫 Adults are not permitted on the kids' track
🚫 Walking pace only in the pits
🚫 No riding in adjacent fields or surrounding land
🚫 No tear-offs – please take litter home

Please ride responsibly, respect others and help keep Egypte safe and enjoyable for everyone 🏍️

Well done to one of our young riders!! 👏👏

A big shoutout to this incredible young fundraiser! 🌟

Jake Leonard is just 8 years old and he raised an amazing £53 through selling his own eggs and homemade rice Krispies cakes.

Thank you for showing that no one is too young to make a big difference in our community. We are so grateful for your support Jake! 💙

🚧 EGYPTE UPDATE 🚧

We’ll be holding a work party at Eygpte this Friday from 3:00pm, with another session on Saturday from 9:00am if needed.

We’d love as many people as possible to come along and lend a hand. The sooner we get the fencing up, the sooner we can get riding on the amazing track that Barette Plant Hire have created! 🏍️🔥

Many hands make light work, so if you can spare some time, please come and help out — it would be hugely appreciated!

🇯🇪 Motocross Riders! – fancy something different this season?

We’re a growing motocross community based in Jersey (Channel Islands), and we’re inviting riders from all over to come and experience one of the most unique tracks in Europe.

Imagine racing with panoramic sea views and surrounding islands right beside the track—it’s not something you get at your local circuit.

Getting here is easier than you think:
• Short ferry crossings from the UK & France
• Bikes and vans welcome
• Camping available right at the track 🏕️
• A perfect excuse for a riding weekend away

Our biggest event of the year is the Steven Jeanne Memorial – Saturday 5th September.
A full day of racing for all ages and abilities, plus:

🍔 Food & bar
🎶 Live music to finish the day

Make a weekend of it—ride, camp, and enjoy the atmosphere with other riders.

It’s more than just a race—it’s a proper community event and a great atmosphere on and off the track.
