Kids Competition announcement :
Dear Parents please note that our club will be participating in the upcoming martial art competition on :6th February
The kids has been practicing now for a few weeks, please speak with the kids and let us know by this FRIDAY the latest if you would like your child to take part in the event.
Please note that you will be required to stay for a duration of the competition with your child to help us ( instructors) and organizer to run this event smoothly.
We are only small club and i think it will be amazing for the kids to take part in this event.
Competitions, like the gradings, are very important step in their training progress,
children who engage in competition earn critical social skills through interacting with other children, while also learning the value of hard work and developing self-esteem and self-efficacy..
Please note there are few divisions which the kids can sign for to compete:
There is strict rule for our club that only kids with grade blue belt and above will be signed to compete in :
-sparrings (point sparring, continuous sparring, boxing only sparring)
- power breakings.
All the lower belts (below blue belt), beginners and kids aged 4 - 7 ( regardless of the belt) can take part in the following divisions:
- patterns,
- flying kicks
- high kicks
( patterns, flying kicks and high kicks are also available for blue belts and above to compete)
DATE - Sunday, 6th February 2022
• VENUE - Haute Vallée School, La Grande Route du Mont à L'Abbé, St Helier JE2 3HA
• EARLY BIRD PRICE: until 5pm Monday, 31st January 2022
o £30 for student
o £15 for additional siblings
• STANDARD PRICE: after 5pm Monday, 31st January 2022
o £35 per student
o £20 for additional siblings
• ALL PROFIT WILL GO TO THE: JERSEY CHILD CARE TRUST
Please note that i will register all the kids in one go, so on Friday i will need: - ur child full name,
-ur consent that the kid is ok to take part in this event, - divisions in which the child would like to compete ( i would highly recomend to sign to as many divisions as they allowed- with one ticket price u can sign to all the divisions..)
- and the money
( now with regards the tickets, i ve decided that we will help all our students and the club will cover half of the price 🤗💪) so pls pay to instructors or club account ( if by Friday) £15 and for siblings £7.50
Please note that kids who will be taking part in sparrings they must have their own full sparring equipment:
- Mouth Guard
• Boxing or Martial Art Helmet
- Foot Guards
• Shin Guards
• Groin Guard
• Boxing or Martial Art Gloves
All the kids compete in full uniform or club tshirt and uniform trousers.

TIMING
The tournament will be split into 2 sections based on the age of the participants:
GROUP A - 9.00am till 11.30am for students aged 4 to 7 years old (those in Reception
to Year 2 at school)
LUNCH 11:30am to 12:30pm – bring your own lunch
GROUP B - 12.30pm till 5pm for students aged 7 to 16 years old (those in Year 3 to
Year 11 at school)
