Switch-Kick with attack AND defence in mind.

A quick demo here on how to switch kick while staying protected throughout the movement.

A few key details to focus on:

๐ŸฅŠ Use the arm to protect against incoming punches as you kick, rather than just letting it swing away.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Turn the hip over and use the full swing to generate more momentum and power through the kick.

โ†—๏ธ Step off the centre line so youโ€™re moving out of the direct line of attack as you throw.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Keep the right arm ready to parry or redirect a push kick if your opponent counters.

Good kicking isnโ€™t just about power โ€” attack, defence, positioning and balance all work together.

Huge well done to everyone who fought and supported our last event on Saturday night, jersey ended with best results weโ€™ve ever seen! Not to mention winning both WBC titles.
Iโ€™m for one am hugely proud of the team we have, all pulling together and supporting each other over last few months, always training to the highest standard! To everyone who fought on the night a huge well done, and of course have to say it, a special well done to both Justin Davey and Kimberley Noel | Blood Fitness for winning title fights, never come across anyone who trains harder than these 2, so big well done and well deserved!

Following late opponent withdrawals, teammates JP Hamon-Cole and Sammy Sutcliffe have stepped up to ensure the crowd still gets another exciting contest. Putting friendship to one side for six minutes, these two Blood Fitness Jersey boxers will meet in a special exhibition bout.

Both fighters are coached by Daniel Dufour of boxing.je, whose technical coaching has helped develop them into talented, disciplined boxers. Expect a fast-paced, skilful contest as they showcase their abilities in front of a home crowd.
