The 2026 Beast of the East event T-shirt has landed.

Every entrant receives one, but to guarantee yours you need to be entered by Sunday 5th October, when the order goes to print.

The Half Marathon is now 80% full and the 10km is 75% full, so if you've been meaning to enter, now's a good time.

THIS IS THE NORTH COAST.

And in May, we get to run it again. 🐒

The North Coast returns Saturday 1st May 2027, with two ways to take it on:
🏃 20 Miles – the full North Coast challenge
🏃 10 Miles – a shorter taste of what makes this part of Jersey so good to run

Both come with a marked course, great aid stations, event T-shirt and finisher medal.
Coastal paths, steep climbs, technical bits, runnable sections and views that make you forget about your legs for a while.

If you know, you know. 🇯🇪

Tucked away on the Beast of the East course is one of Jersey's most remarkable hidden places – the perquage in St Catherine's Woods.

The woodland trail follows what is widely believed to be the route of the ancient St Catherine's Valley Perquage, one of Jersey's medieval pathways, traditionally associated with the island's sanctuary routes.

Today it's one of the most memorable sections of the race.

High moss-covered walls. The old stone bridge overhead. A quiet, almost forgotten place that feels unchanged by time.

Then, a few minutes later, you're back out on the cliffs with the North Coast opening up in front of you.

It's one of those places that photos never quite capture.
If you've run through it before, you'll know exactly what we mean.

Here's your first look at this year's official series T-shirt.
We've gone for something a little different this year with a hyper pink technical tee, featuring the Autumn Trail Series design on the back and event branding on the chest. It's certainly one you won't lose in the wash!
With the first race taking place on Sunday 18th October, there's now just two weeks left to guarantee your T-shirt.
🗓️ T-shirt deadline: Thursday 1st October
After that date we'll place the order, so if you're planning to take part in the series, make sure you're entered before the deadline.

Some things have changed over the years.

The logo's had a refresh. The routes have evolved. We've visited plenty of different corners of the island.

What hasn't changed is why we do it.

A friendly Sunday morning on Jersey's trails. A choice of 5km or 10km. A warm welcome, whatever your pace. And tea & cake waiting at the finish.

Every mile of Beast of the East is made possible by people like these.
Giving up their Sunday morning so everyone else can have a great day on the trails.
From pointing you in the right direction and cheering you up the climbs, to handing out water, cake and encouragement at the finish, our volunteers are a huge part of what makes Trail Monkey events what they are.

If you see one on race day, give them a smile, a wave or a quick "thank you". It means more than you might realise.
