This design is yet to be finalised, so whether it's your dream design or not, please visit the link and leave a supportive comment to say that you support the plan to create a skatepark here. The Skate Space project is extremely grateful to be one of the charities that will be supported by Island Walk Jersey this year. Every penny they raise will be distributed amongst island charities, Skate Space being one of them. This is amazing for the project!

The walk is on Saturday 15th June. Why not challenge yourself and hoof it around the island, whilst raise money for brilliant causes! You can sign up via the website https://islandwalk.je

The Skate Space isn’t open yet, but it’s getting there. We have exciting news to soon share, and lots of people are working hard in the background to get the doors open. Please follow on Instagram for project updates.

We heard on the rumour mill that people were already skating the space… sadly this isn’t true… yet - a bit of indoor skating went on in Communicare during the training for Skateboard Jersey coaching qual - perhaps that’s what got people confused. When our doors are open, we will shout it from the rooftops!

We’re strong supporters of the Skate Space community project and are stoked to learn that they have been chosen as one of the charities that will be supported by 2024’s Island Walk. This is HUGE news for Skate Space, and we are very grateful to the Island Walk team!

The walk is on Saturday 15th June 2024. Plenty of time to train your legs. 📣 Calling all skatepark users! We've got some exciting updates for you:

🔨 On 17th and 18th July, contractors will be on-site to attend to the copings in the skatepark, specifically around the top of the bowl. To ensure a smooth and safe operation, this section of the skatepark will be temporarily closed. We appreciate your cooperation during this maintenance period.

🌳 As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the skatepark, we have listened to your feedback, from 17th to 23rd July, we'll be saying goodbye to woodchip in most areas and hello to fantastic artificial turf. Get ready for a whole new skateboarding experience with enhanced surfaces and reduced maintenance needs.

⛔ During this period, please note that small areas of the skatepark will be closed off intermittently throughout the week as the work progresses. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but rest assured, we're working hard to minimize disruptions and complete the project swiftly.

🌿 Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as we work towards creating an even more thrilling space for you to showcase your skills. 🛹✨
