PLEASE READ AND PLEASE HELP !!!

In April 2026, I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Mind, a charity that is close to my heart.

As many of you know, I live with ongoing mental health challenges that can at times have a devastating impact on both my personal and working life. It’s something I continue to work on every single day. Without the guidance, kindness, and support I’ve received along the way, I know I would be in a far darker place.

That’s why I want to give something back — to help ensure that others struggling with their mental health can access the same vital support, advice, and care that has made such a difference in my own journey.

🎉 Functional Performance turns 15 today! 🎉

It’s hard to believe — 15 years since I first opened the doors of the GRAVITY Studio at Harbour Reach.
What a journey it’s been. 🙌

Since those early days, we’ve moved through four different premises and evolved into something truly unique — unlike anything else in our community. 💪

Over time, the original GRAVITY classes made way for Functional Patterns biomechanics sessions, focusing on helping people overcome postural issues and back, hip, and knee pain. 🧠✨

Then came Covid — and overnight, we had to completely rethink how we trained.
I’ll always be grateful to everyone who supported the studio during that time.
Those online sessions kept us all connected (and gave us a few laughs too!). 💻😂

What means the world to me is that some of the same amazing clients who started with me 15 years ago are still training with me today. ❤️

To everyone who’s been part of this journey — thank you.
Functional Performance wouldn’t be what it is today without you. 🙏

The session is offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

!!! HALF MARATHON PB ACHIEVED !!!

Today was all about helping my client Cat run a half marathon PB.

Despite the weather being somewhat moist, it made for some good running conditions.

Our aim was to be 1 min 40sec inside of her previous PB. Not only did we achieve that but, we also took off a further 2min 30sec smashing her previous PB by over four minutes.

Cat originally came to me wanting to train for, and run a half marathon without getting injured. Using the Functional Performance principles, we achieved that as well as a PB.

A huge WELL DONE to Cat for putting the work in before race day and for today’s effort.

THAT’S ALL FOLKS !!!

We’re done, another year of Personal Training / Injury Rehabilitation / Postural Correction completed.

I would like to thank every single client for their continued support of Functional Performance and would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

I look forward to working with you all again in 2025 and helping you reach goals and remain injury free.

I will see you all when I reopen on Monday 6th January.
