Well done to all the players who competed in the Jersey Tennis & Padel Pebble Summer Slam Tournament held at the club last weekend. There was some fantastic tennis on display, and we hope everyone, whether playing or watching, enjoyed the event. Also, thank you to JTAP for choosing the club as the tournament venue. During the first six weeks of the school summer term, the club once again delivered its annual We Are Tennis schools programme, kindly sponsored by BNP Paribas.

This initiative gave every government primary school the chance to welcome one of our coaches for fun, engaging tennis sessions with their Year 3 classes, along with the added excitement of competing on Finals Day. This year, 16 schools took part, reaching around 500 children across the island.

Finals Day took place at the club last Friday, bringing together 140 enthusiastic young players from 12 schools for a fantastic day of friendly, competitive tennis. Congratulations to St Peter's for taking first place, with St Clement's finishing second and d’Auvergne third. This event remains a highlight of our calendar and an important part of our mission to introduce tennis to the next generation.

A huge thank you to our brilliant coaching team for organising the day, and to the BNP Paribas staff who generously volunteered their time, including Jamison, who captured the action on camera. Photos will be shared shortly.

We hope to see many of these young players continue their tennis journey with us!

Join our ever-popular Junior Summer Tennis Camps open to members and non-members for kids aged 5–10 and of all level!

Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time or building on their skills, our tennis camps are a fantastic way to stay active, build confidence, and make new friends this summer.

Dates & Times:

Week 1: 20th-22nd July
Week 2: 27th-31st July
Week 3: 10th-14th August
Week 4: 17th-21st August

Each day runs 9am–1pm - £30 per day or £130 for a full week (save £20!)
Please note there are no camps on the week of 2nd-7th August due to our Summer Tournament.

The club recently hosted its annual Club Championships, beginning with the under‑12s competing in blistering heat. The sunshine continued through to Wednesday, with the under‑18s producing some high‑level tennis despite the tough conditions.

Friday brought slightly cooler weather and a very full day of matches for the under‑14s, ending with a 2.5‑hour boys’ final.

Over the weekend, the majority of the adult events took place, with plenty of singles and doubles action leading into Sunday’s finals. A great number of spectators came down to watch, followed by the presentation and BBQ.

A big thank you to everyone who took part or came along to support the players, to Robert Sutherland for kindly taking some photos and to Quilter Cheviot International for sponsoring the event.

Jersey Tennis & Padel would like to invite members to two Girls Tennis Day afternoons taking place at Caesarean Tennis Club this Sunday June 7th and Sunday July 5th from 12pm–2pm.

It would be great to see as many girls as possible come along to compete in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment. The aim of the afternoons is to encourage girls of all ages and standards to play matches, enjoy tennis together, and meet new players they may not have played with before.
