St. Saviour's Bowls Club

St. Saviour's Bowls Club Sport and recreation venue. St Saviour’s Bowls Club was formed in 1980 and is situated at the Grainville Sports Centre, St Saviour.

It is the most easterly club on the Island and is handy for residents of St Saviour, St Martin, Grouville, St Clement and Trinity as well as St Helier. The club has good parking behind the green as well as being on a regular bus route. The bus stop is located right outside the club opposite Langtry Gardens. The club started in 1980 with over a 100 members with an annual subscription of £12. Today

we have over 120 members, catering for all ages and the annual subscription is £95. Over the years the clubhouse facilities have improved significantly. Having started with a small hut we now have a large club room with a viewing gallery, an excellent kitchen, bar, male and female changing rooms and a communal locker room. The club is always keen to introduce new bowlers to the game of bowls and anyone wishing to try need only contact the Secretary who will arrange for one of the club instructors to provide lessons. We have a relaxed dress code for friendly roll-ups with the main stipulation being the requirement to wear bowling shoes (a flat soled shoe is required and some can even be borrowed from the club). For competitions white or club shirts and white or grey trousers / skirt are worn as appropriate.

🏆 Tranent BC Gala Pairs 🏆

What an absolutley fantastic day at TBC with our annual Gala Pairs!
Despite the strong winds making things tricky the standard was great as always!

Huge congratulations to our overall winners Megan Kivlin and Gordon Pryde!

Our runners up were Gareth Gray and Laura McCrorie, with beaten Semi finalists Adam Martin/Mathew Martin & Colin Blyth/Kenny McCrorie!

Also a huge thanks to ACs Taxis & Minibuses for their generous sponsorship! Without this support, this event simply could not run!
