Hello and welcome to The Surfyard,

If you are looking to learn surfing here in Jersey, we provide a professional, caring, fun approach to teaching. We have a team of committed and passionate coaches, each with many years of surf coaching experience to offer. Our fully equipped surf shop includes everything you might need for the perfect beach lifestyle experience. If you need any surfing or beach

advice our friendly team are here to speak to and help guide you along. We believe that everyone who steps foot into our surf school, past, present and future are all a part of the creation and development of this surf community. We provide a home away from home for travellers visiting from overseas. A place to make your first stop off the plane, check in and become acclimatised to the local surf community. A friendly member of our team can help you fulfill that surfing dream. For us it is about the lifestyle that develops around surfing, that we want to share with you. Here at The Surfyard we provide the location and space to relax, unwind, meet with like minded people and enjoy this wonderful beach life we love. It is a space to arrive to after the daily grind, kick off your shoes to feel the sand in between your toes and just breath the fresh sea air. Come see us soon,

COMP 2!! 👀🏄🏼‍♂️🌊

After making the decision to reschedule Comp 2 of this year’s Five Mile Glide, we’ve got our fingers crossed for some clean waves and sunshine on Sunday 9th August! ☀️

Date: Sunday 9th August
Check in: 12:00
Kick-off: 13:00

Categories are Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Juniors and Masters 🏄🏼‍♂️ all levels welcome!

Entires £15 Adult and £10 Junior (second adult entry is £10). If you’re able, please enter prior to comp day! It really helps us out ☺️ you can do so at the shop or by emailing [email protected] 👍

Due to a later start this time round, we’ll be having drinks and music towards the end of the event to celebrate the day (hopefully with a beautiful sunset 🤞).

We hope you can join us again down the bay for this opportunity to celebrate the high standard of longboarding on the island!

This comp will start to decide the overall winners of The Five Mile Glide Summer Series 2026 - so don’t miss out 🏆
