Looking for something fun and active for the kids this October? Our Half Term Camp is back! 🙌

👧🧒 Ages: 5–14
⏰ Time: 9:00am–1:00pm
🌅 Early drop-off: Available from 8:30am

📅 Week 1: 19–23 October
📅 Week 2: 26–30 October
Please note: Week 1 does not fall within half term for all schools.

Expect plenty of padel, games, fun and new friends! 🎾☀️

After an incredible run at the Silver FIP, where he battled his way all the way to the final, professional padel player and elite coach Samuel Alós Boal is returning to Island Padel as a coach this October!

🇪🇸 Currently ranked No. 2 in Spain in the Absolute category and formerly No. 41 on the A1 Padel Circuit, Samuel Alós brings elite-level experience, knowledge and tactics straight to the court.

🎾 Individual & group coaching sessions

Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or looking to take your game to the next level, this is your chance to train with a player who’s competed at the highest level.

WE’RE HIRING – FRONT OF HOUSE | THE PADEL PAD 🎾☕

Island Padel is looking for two friendly, outgoing people to join our Front of House team at The Padel Pad, our player reception and café.

The role includes:

* Welcoming players and assisting with equipment rental and sales
* Helping with court bookings and general padel queries
* Serving barista-made drinks, cold drinks, alcoholic beverages and light snacks
* Keeping our café and surrounding areas clean and welcoming
* Adjusting our indoor court canopies depending on the weather
* Opening and/or closing the facility

Hours:
Monday–Friday: 4:00pm–9:30pm
Weekends: 12:00pm–9:30pm

We ideally want to split the shifts between two people, so there is flexibility around the working pattern.

Applicants must be 18 or over and, most importantly, have a friendly, outgoing personality that fits with Island Padel’s welcoming and inclusive ethos.

Barista experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.

Pay: Living Wage

🏆Rathbones Corporate League Finals

The closest Corporate League Finals of all time played out today in glorious outdoor padel weather, with both divisions going right down to the wire!

In Division 1, PwC overcame Saso while Mans Club defeated Rathbones, setting up a mouth-watering final.

Division 2 saw Apex and Walkers progress past Stonehage Fleming and Canaccord 2. The final couldn’t have been tighter, with Apex taking the title on total games countback.

The Division 1 final was every bit as dramatic. After an hour of timed matches, there was nothing to separate Mans Club and PwC, with two of the three rubbers finishing at one set apiece. It all came down to games countback, with PwC edging it 2–1 to take the crown! 🏆

Some fantastic quality padel throughout, played in an amazing spirit. A fitting finale to another brilliant Rathbones Corporate League ✅
