This weekend, a group of Year 12 students from Inglis - House Captains Cecily and Caitlin, Margaux and Amelie - will be taking part in the Round the Island Walk Relay. The walk is 80km in total and each of the students will be walking the distance of a half marathon over the course of the day, starting from 03:00 and finishing around 20:00. Island Walk Jersey

This will be a big challenge for the team who are hoping to raise money for Kezia's Fund, which is Inglis' House charity for this year as it supports teenage mental health, a theme which is relevant to every single one of us, to the school and specifically close to Inglis.

Yesterday, Kezia’s Fund panel came together to decide how 2026 funds would be shared across the many inspiring charities and projects that applied.

Whilst we sadly cannot meet all the demand, we were truly humbled. Humbled by the passion of those doing this work, and by the kindness and generosity of every single person or organisation that has supported the fund in any way. Because of you, Kezia’s Fund has now raised just over £250,000, with around £230,000 put directly into projects that support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people here in Jersey.

It’s overwhelming to see how far this has come, and to know the difference it is continuing to make. From the bottom of our hearts – thank you for helping turn care, compassion and generosity into real support for those who need it most.

We will update you on the specifics of the 2026 funded projects later in the year. 💚

Honoured to collect a cheque from The St Peter’s Golf Society this evening having been their 2025 charity. Thanks to all the members for their generosity and choosing Kezia’s Fund. I find it truly heartwarming that the fund and its message continues to be supported by so many diverse groups. 💚

Our first ever “big cheque” (in the physical sense!)

A huge thank-you to everyone at Prosperity 24.7 and to all who took part in Prosperity Day - whether you were on the bikes, sponsoring a rider or in the bar, the time and effort poured into the event were truly impressive.
