Update
After a break from social media I have come to the decision to take a longer pause on the page and potentially bring it to an end.
At this stage I want to say a massive thank you to all supporters of the page and apologise to anyone who has reached out in the past week.
I love Muay Thai and have a great passion for seeing the women's scene grow but overall I have become disheartened with many aspects of social media.
In addition, there have been several issues with the page that have hindered certain features and coverage.
Over the years since starting the page, I have seen great growth in the scene; with more representation,support and opportunities for women.
And although equity is still a long way off, there are many signs that this growth will continue.
Now there is a lot more coverage of the women's scene. Fighters themselves are creating engaging content and there are many insightful,useful and informative sources for women on social media. These are often created for women and by women on the scene. All showing the true strength of the community.
I will always be a supporter of the scene and it might not be a goodbye for the page but for now it's see you later 🙏
