Tutte le Mappe Topografiche dell'Europa, degli Stati Uniti, del Canada, dell'Australia e della Nuova Zelanda sono GRATIS. Con Terra Map avrete l'opportunità di usare le Mappe Topografiche più dettagliate, derivate dagli enti pubblici locali. In Italia, per esempio, la rete stradale più aggiornata di OpenStreetMap (OSM) è stata integrata con dati provenienti dalle Carte Tecniche Regionali (CTR scala 1:10.000), le curve di livello provenienti dalla NASA, ed altri dati da fonti locali per ottenere il maggior dettaglio possibile. Negli Stati Uniti abbiamo usato USGS e dati dai DNRs locali (Department of Natural Resources), in Nuova Zelanda i dati ufficiali del LINZ. Avrete accesso a Mappe Topografiche con curve di livello ogni 10m (30ft), tutti i sentieri (incluso anche i sentieri a lunga percorrenza come la Via Alpina, la Via Francigena, l'Appalachian Trail, la Pacific Crest Trail, ecc.), punti di elevazione, picchi montuosi, rifugi, bivacchi, aree da picnic, campeggi, sorgenti d'acqua, aree di protezione e molto altro (incluso tutti i laghi, fiumi e la rete stradale completa). Tutti i Parchi Nazionali (per esempio in Italia il Gran Paradiso, lo Stelvio, le Cinque Terre, ecc. negli USA lo Yellowstone, lo Yosemite, il Great Smokey Mountain,l'Olympics, il Big Bend, ecc.) e i parchi locali, ma anche tutte le National Forests (come l'Allegheney, le White Mountains, le Green Mountains, la Mark Twain, ecc...) Scarica le mappe vettoriali Terra Map sul tuo smartphone o tablet, per la tua area di interesse, e usale OFFLINE in mezzo ai boschi o in cima alle montagne. NESSUNA CONNESSIONE INTERNET è necessaria una volta che la mappa è scaricata sul tuo smartphone o tablet.

Con Terra Map puoi registrare Tracce e Markers e memorizzarne in numero illimitato sul tuo smartphone o tablet (iPhone o iPad), inoltre puoi condividerli con i tuoi amici grazie al "Terra Map Sharing System". Invia la tua posizione o i tuoi Markers preferiti o la tua ultima Traccia ai tuoi amici tramite Facebook, Twitter, eMail, SMS, Airdrop... loro potranno visualizzarli su un PC (per esempio usando Google Earth) o su uno smartphone o tablet (semplicemente cliccando sul file KMZ ricevuto) o caricarli ed usarli direttamente sulla loro app Terra Map per iPhone o iPad. PIANIFICA IL TUO ITINERARIO A CASA: carica su Terra Map qualunque file KMZ o KML o GPX, non solo quelli creati dall'app Terra Map ma anche quelli generati con altri strumenti come, per esempio, Google Earth.

Abbiamo progettato questa app per la navigazione GPS con l'intento di farti avere la migliore esperienza in fase di Trekking, Biking, MTB, Skiing... o una qualunque altra attività outdoor. Utlizzando Terra Map potrai:
- Utilizzare una Mappa Topografica estremamente chiara sulla quale potrai zoomare e pannare fino ad un elevatissimo livello di dettaglio.
- Vedere la tua posizione GPS sulla mappa.
- Misurare la distanza reale fra due punti sulla mappa.
- Registrare le tue Tracce e accedere ad informazioni quali: velocità media, distanza percorsa totale, ecc... NOTA: Terra Map usa le tecnologie iOS più avanzate per l'uso ottimizzato della batteria.
- Registrare i tuoi Markers utilizzando la posizione GPS attuale, o premendo con un dito sulla mappa o inserendo le coordinate di Latitudine e Longitudine.
- Mostrare le tue Tracce e i tuoi Markers preferiti sulla mappa.
- Gestire le tue Tracce e i tuoi Markers: cancellare, rinominare, aggiungere una descrizione, cambiare il simbolo e il colore.
- Condividere i tuoi Markers e le tue Tracce (vedi "Traccia: memorizza e condividi").
- Definire un Marker come Target point e monitorare la distanza, il tempo e l'angolo necessario a raggiungerlo.
- Scaricare sul telefono o tablet le Mappe Topografiche per l'area di tuo interesse, in modo da poterle usare OFFLINE successivamente senza la necessità di dover usare una connessione internet quando sarete in montagna o in mezzo ai boschi.

- Selezionare lo sfondo della tua Mappa Topografica potendo variare fra OFFLINE, Satellite e OpenStreetMap.
