Sergio Tavฤar needs no introduction. Since 1971, through TV Koper-Capodistria, heโs been one of the defining voices of international basketball, a voice that became part of the game itself.
In his latest book, ๐ชโ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐โ๐ต๐ฉ๐จ, a must-read for every basketball fan, Tavฤar takes a deep dive into the history of the worldโs most famous basketball league, looking back at its golden era in the โ80s and โ90s and, from his own perspective, at what followed. And right there, at the heart of that golden age, is Michael Jordan, one of the ultimate symbols of the NBA at its peak.
And then, unexpectedly, thereโs a little piece of Shattered Backboard in the story.
While talking about that unforgettable night in Trieste on August 26, 1985, Tavฤar also mentions our Through The Glass exhibition, which traveled across the region between 2025 and 2026, along with the only official replicas ever made of the jersey Jordan wore that night, created through our collaboration with Massimo Piubello and Stefanel.
