In September 2025, during Festivolare airshow in Trento, we had the pleasure of welcoming and hosting Tenley, who was in Europe at the time and managed to come to Trentino region to attend the airshow.

Tenley is a pilot and flying instructor from United States, and she’s restoring her RV-6.

Over the years, we had the pleasure of meeting pilots from many countries and we think this is what you call a real community of like-minded people, brought together by the same passion.

We love our aircrafts!
We use two Vansaircraft RV-8 that we home-built respectively in 2010 (the blue one) and 2014 (the orange one). They sports two Lycoming engines both with great Catto three blades FP propellers. While the blue one uses a simple carburetor, the orange one has a fuel injection that permits a little unload during maneuver. Both airplanes have a SmokingAirplane kit for the smoke trails. Our RVs are exceptionally responsive, agile, and harmonize handling. They are like an extension of our thoughts: this feel is what every Vansaircraft pilot calls “RV Grin”

Captured during the Festivolare Airshow 2025, mid-execution of our "corkscrew" maneuver.
The leader progressively reduces airspeed while maintaining a continuous roll, cross-checking the wingman's position and continuously monitoring compliance with the assigned minimum altitude. The wingman holds a precise, stabilized formation, allowing the pair to generate a constant helical trajectory throughout the maneuver. Telephoto compression enhances the visual effect.
