In summer (and in September 😁) the best time to see the city center in Rethymno is the early morning when most tourists are still sleeping 😴 and most locals are having a freddo ☕😁

When I cycle I usually 'get in the zone' and immerse myself in the activity. Today for some reason I had the whole Doom soundtrack in my head - I never listen to actual music since I want to be aware of my surroundings.

Perhaps that's why I ended up doing my fastest 100Km ever (including a photo stop on the Windsor bridge 🤣).

Thank you Doom, and also for the constant reaction time training 😁
