A while ago, we had the pleasure and honour of crafting this 12-gauge WILD Sideplate Over Under, commissioned to mark the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence; the United States is celebrating the 250th anniversary of its founding. This WILD Sideplate OU has 30-inch barrels, fixed chokes, a stock made from selected walnut, a leather-covered butt plate, a solid rib and has been engraved by Creative Art.
The stunning blue, white, and red leather case was made by Arthemis, a company based near Naples.
The engraving details are as follows.
The left side is beautifully engraved with a composition featuring the Capitol Building, Mount Rushmore, and the symbolic American Bald Eagle
The right side features the Battle of Iwo Jima and the Plymouth Rock Monument
The engraving of the Statue of Liberty and the Bald Eagle embellish the action bottom, while the Washington Monument Obelisk is in the centre of the trigger guard.

Over the past few months, we have also been working on another pair of 20-gauge Wild sideplate shotguns, tested with steel shot and engraved with a beautiful and deep ornamental scroll made by Fratelli Dassa. The plastic cases are intended solely for transport. The shotguns were delivered in a stunning handmade leather case, personalised with the customers’ initials in gold.
