SCAPULAR PUSH UPS

These exercises target two critical muscle groups, the rhomboids and serratus anterior for shoulder health, back strength and upper body posture.

Here are three modifications of a scapular push up. Forearms, all fours and plank.

Start in the desired position as shown but if you are in all fours or plank position keep your arms straight because the movement must come from your scapulars. Push your scapulars apart and then squeeze them together nice and slowly with intention.

10-15 controlled reps should be enough, in the full plank position start with 5 and increase your reps to build strength and to avoid injuries.
