Just another day at sea.
Yesterday’s kayak tour turned into a rescue mission.

Out in the open water we spotted a dog swimming alone, far from shore. We paddled over, pulled him onto the kayak and brought him back to land. Exhausted, hungry, but incredibly sweet.

We even used a surf leash as a leash to keep him safe and took him to the veterinary service to make sure he was okay and to check for a microchip. Nothing. No chip, no information.

Authorities told us to “just let him go.” (shame)
So we called , an Animal Welfare Officer, who helped us find a temporary safe place for him.

We posted in the .official group chat (the best .cats treasure hunt crew) and a few hours later the owner was found.

He was just a small soul lost in the sea for a moment.
Yesterday, the sea gave him back home. 🌊🐾
